Driving home from a visit with her parents, 21-year-old Rachel became the victim of a head-on collision with a drunk driver, resulting in a totaled car and injuries.Further investigation found that the driver was a repeat DUI offender and was driving that night without a license. After deciding as a family to take action against a man they felt was a threat to society, a family friend referred Rachel and her parents to Staley Law.
Staley Law was supportive of Rachel and in constant communication throughout the process. Rachel always felt informed and involved, making decisions as a team. Staley Law turned down initial offers to compensate for general and special damages time and again, refusing to back down until Rachel was awarded punitive damages against the drunk driver, as she deserved.
“From the first meeting, Mr. Staley made me feel understood and protected,” said Rachel. “I could tell my story made him angry – he reacted a lot like my Dad. I felt like I had a family member on my side, fighting for me. Mr. Staley was incredibly supportive, and refused to back down – he would have done anything to help me.”
